The seminar will take place at the Hillsboro School District Main Office in the board room at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, May 12th.
We will also be discussing Social Security and 403(b) retirement options and how they correlate with the PERS System. This seminar is ideally suited for employees 10 years or less from retirement or are planning to this year, but will provide valuable information for those who are also looking to learn about their benefits in general.
The seminar will be presented by Skylar Koon, an Investment Advisor Representative with Cetera Investors located in Tigard, Oregon. Skylar has been working with clients and employees within the Hillsboro School District, as well as districts statewide, for over a decade helping them to create financial plans that incorporate strategies to maximize the benefits from their PERS retirement while also taking into account entire household and spousal assets in order to successfully navigate the road to retirement and beyond.
